API syncs often start too late. Internal exchange transfers never appear. Futures gains are missing while spot is present. A second sub-account API was never connected. These are the same gaps as in CoinTracking, only labelled as a balance instead of a warning.
Complete the history first, then labels, then prices. Relabelling first creates new hints. In chain.report that is the CleanUp order: balances, prices, classification.
1) Note the integration and period of the difference. 2) Connect the same account in chain.report. 3) Open the balance gap per asset. 4) Reload an older CSV or the sub-account. 5) Export when the difference is closed.
Blockpit shows it and lets you correct it. With many gaps or DeFi the list stays long. Then a guided path through the data problems helps.
Rounding differences from fees can stay small. A lasting gap on a large asset is not.
